This is an American Red Cross Certification Course and follows all guidelines the American Red Cross requires. The Adult First Aid/CPR/AED course incorporates the latest science and teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies for victims about 12 years and older. Successful students will receive a certificate for Adult First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years.

This is an American Red Cross Certification Course and follows all guidelines the American Red Cross requires. The American Red Cross Standard First Aid with CPR/AED Adult plus CPR – Child and Infant course incorporates the 2010 ECC standards. It will help participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies. The courses in The program teach skills that participants need to know to give immediate care to a suddenly injured or ill person until more advanced medical personnel arrive and take over. California Child Care: Pediatric First Aid and CPR  |  $90

This is an American Red Cross Certification Course and follows all guidelines the American Red Cross requires.

This 8-hour course is CPR – Adult, Child & Infant and Pediatric First Aid training designed specifically for California State Licensed Child Care Providers and people seeking Child Care licensing in the State of California to satisfy the State requirement for 8 hours of special training in CPR & pediatric first aid that includes extra topics required by the State of California EMS Authority. Satisfies Title 22 requirements for CPR & First Aid Trainings requirements for Child Care Providers.

Unique/ Required topics covered in this course include: Required Consent and Information forms for Child Care settings, Emergency Follow-Up Steps, utilizing the Child Care First Aid Action Plans, and Dealing with Asthma and other Respiratory Emergencies. This class includes a 30 minute lunch so students may want to bring a sack lunch.

Babysitter’s Course 16yr +  |  $120

This is an American Red Cross Certification Course and follows all guidelines the American Red Cross requires. Targeting adult learners (16+) the American Red Cross Advanced Babysitter’s Training course teaches the knowledge and skills necessary to responsibly care for children and infants in and outside of the home. Learn leadership, child behavior and discipline, professionalism, safety, basic childcare (bottle feeding, holding, etc.), as well as training toward certification in Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED. This blended learning course combines online learning with comprehensive instructor-led training. The online learning session must be successfully completed before participants can attend the in-person session. After successful completion of the online and classroom sessions, learners will receive the following certifications, each valid for 2 years: – Advanced Child Care Training – Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Note: This program is not intended as certification for state licensed child-care providers and does not meet all state requirements for such certification.

 

Babysitters Course 11-15 yrs old  |  $80

This is an American Red Cross Certification Course and follows all guidelines the American Red Cross requires. To provide youth who are planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children and infants. This training will help participants to develop leadership skills; learn how to develop a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe and help children behave; and learn about basic child care and basic first aid. The recommended age for this course is 11-15 years old.
